Gedeon Medica is a Warsaw-based medical clinic specializing in treating anorexia, bulimia, depression, and other psychological conditions. They approached us to replace their overwhelming paper-based records with a digital platform tailored to their therapeutic methodology. The resulting system, Patient Card, became the foundation for how their doctors, specialists, and administrators manage patient care in a secure, cohesive, and reliable way.

We began with a Product Design Sprint to understand the clinic’s processes and translate them into a unified digital experience. Custom built on Google Cloud, Patient Card centralizes all patient information, supports collaboration among specialists, and meets the strictest medical-data standards.

User Research & Process Mapping

We began by conducting interviews and workshops with doctors, psychologists, and administrative staff. These sessions revealed how information moved between departments and where it was being lost in paper forms or manual entry. Understanding their unique treatment cycles and documentation patterns allowed us to design digital processes that mirrored their actual workflow. Every feature originated from observed pain points, not assumptions.

Workflow Definition & UX Design

Once the key processes were mapped, we translated them into wireframes and interactive prototypes. Each user type, including doctors, receptionists, and managers, received a tailored experience designed around their responsibilities. Validation rules and guided steps ensured that every patient file remained complete and compliant throughout the treatment cycle. The final UX provided structure without rigidity and flexibility for the clinic’s multi-specialist approach.

System Architecture & Data Security

From the start, security and reliability were treated as fundamental requirements. Our engineers implemented a cloud-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, combining encrypted data storage with granular role-based permissions. Each action is tracked to ensure accountability and compliance with medical data regulations. Training & Long-Term Support

After deployment, we conducted in-person training sessions for both clinical and administrative teams. The goal was to make every user comfortable with the new digital process from day one.
